Mobile Blogging: I know it if far from rocket science but I am writing this blog entry from my mobile phone and not the usual notebook on my lap. Whilst I still fail to see how a majority of us would be able to constantly find the time necessary to microblog on Twitted.com or Jaiku.com then I do see the point in spending 10 minutes while waiting for the bus posting to a blog.

Mobile Tracking: Albert-László Barabási, who wrote Linked has led a study tracking 100.000 mobile users in a project at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. The study will be published in Nature and is reported on Nature's news site, picked up by BBC News, and CNN, who also report on ethical concerns raised regarding the study. The Agence France Presse report emphasises possible public health benefits in terms of predicting the spread of infections.
(Thanks to Silvia for finding it, and to Rich Ling on the Mobile Society Google Group for the CNN link)
